When living in Edinburgh in the early 2000s Janos and I spent many happy times together. He would often ask me for my views on his latest essay for Uni or invite me to his flat for a casual  supper when he would sometimes prepare a Hungarian pancake dish which was a favourite of mine.i was also lucky enough to visit him in Hungary in his home town when he was in hospital and I enjoyed meeting his grandmother in her home there. He last visited my partner and I a view years ago on a bicycle having travelled from Sutton to Caversham. A pretty long journey but he loved cycling. And we always enjoyed reading his various travelogues. He brought much happiness and fun to so many people and he will never be forgotten.
